The hike will start in the Riekstukalns parking lot, near the ski slopes. From the very beginning, you will go through the forest path to the forest and enter the Strength Steps of the Baldone Story Trail, where we offer you to solve 9 tasks for the development of mind, emotional intelligence and body. You will see a place where there is no more Devil's Stone and find out what it was. You will continue along the cycling paths and trails, there will be beautiful ups and downs, find out what a boreal forest is, how it differs from the usual and why it is important. You will learn about sports activities in Baldone and why you should return to Baldone - to enjoy the forest, nature and active recreation both in winter and summer!
Before or after the hike, we recommend a visit to the Riekstukalns Tower and Baldone Observatory. But if there is a lot of strength and the mountain is open, go skiing too! Remember: the forest is an animal house! They cannot run in deep snow and can injure themselves. As you walk through the forest, speak loudly so that you are noticed in time. Take your dog to the leash! In winter, forest animals give birth to babies; remember - you don't have to save them! If you see a baby beast, remember that his mom is always around and just waiting for the pedestrian to continue on his way! Don't fertilize in the woods, but if you're a true friend of nature, leave the place better than it was before you got there!
